"When my dad gifted my daughter and I this adventure, we had no idea what to expect, and I’m glad we didn’t because our minds were blown. We were picked up in Whitehorse and while driving to Lake Watson, we saw moose and bears and were so excited but had no idea that the beauty of our surroundings was only just beginning. We hopped on a small plane and the scenery was incredible with crystal clear lakes, streams, ponds, rivers, creeks, pockets of water. I don’t even know what to call them, but it was very surreal. When we landed ‘in the middle of nowhere’ at Candace’s camp, we were buzzing with excitement. The camp was secluded and had everything we needed to remind us of how we are one with nature. We watched as it rained and we had to surrender all control. We hiked over the wild running rivers, rode horses up the mountains to witness the vast landscape, and honoured our bodies by doing yoga everyday. She had an all woman crew, all women guests, and to simply say I felt empowered as a woman, would be an understatement. There was definitely magic in the air, because with all of these factors in place, I truly stepped into my goddess energy and loved every minute of this spiritual adventure"
